The light yellow color brilliant dress opens on an intense nose which mixes floral smells with fruity notes, raised from a touch of licorice. In mouth, the round attack seduces us thanks to an expressive fruitiness which coats well all the palate and which comes to sweeten a set which remains very fresh. Excellent in the aperitif, Quincy accompanies perfectly seafoods, fish based starters and with white meats. Quincy gets married so very well to goat cheeses!
QUINCY "Vieilles vignes"
This vintage arises exclusively from old vines, certain of more than 50 years old and selected in deeper terroirs. Very straight ahead, but also very fine in mouth, it will seduce you by its body while keeping the freshness and the typicality of the sauvignons of our terroirs.
It accommodates marvelously with fishes in sauce or in terrines, the poultry and white meats in sauce.
QUINCY "Génération I"
Our Vintage QUINCY «Generation I” arises from a selection of Old Vines (50 years old), the fermentation and the wine making are made in barrels.
Salmon pink colour characteristic of chateaumeillant. Fruity and sugary notes (raspberry and candies) Mouth round with freshness, richly aromatic, marrying finesse and delicacy. Long persistence in the palate.
This wine arises from an assembly of 3 plots of land of old vines from 10 to 60 years. It is a handed grape harvest, destemmed and lifted up in tank by conveyor belt to limit the crush. A cold maceration is performed with reassemblies spread to the alcoholic fermentation. Wine making is made in Stainless tank.
The tasting makes us discover a purple ruby dress, the nose opened on the very mature red berries, the discreet tannins in attack rise in power, showing itself fresh and tight on a finale blackcurrant and spices.
